I'd like to say thank you to you guys. Without getting too political I'd like to thank you and also thank Reagan. I truly believe you guys saved the planet by being ready to fight. I believe the forces you were a part of were the greatest forces to ever be assembled on the planet earth. By watching Reforger footage on youtube it's clear to me now that the US forces were the heavy lifters in Europe and ready to throw down against the Soviets for real. That's why the Soviets collapsed imo, they couldn't compete with a such a competent, motivated and well equipped force. Thank you. |

The standard 11 man Squad was 2 Fire Tms of 5 + 1 Sqd Ldr Fires Tms were armed with : TM A 1 M203 GL 1 M249 SAW 1 M60 MG 2 M16s TM B 1 M203 GL 1 M249 SAW 1 M47 MAW what was the situation in other armies that used the m113 ( example germans/canadians/belgians/ israel etc) also the same goes for british fv432 and the french amx vci |
