Anyone know of any historical gaming clubs/groups in Clearwater Florida or Long Island NY?

Thanks,
Frank

HMGS-South holds our conventions to the east of you Frank in Orlando. RECON 2017 is this coming weekend 4-7 May and HURRICON 2017 is 28 September to 1 October. Plenty of games and vendors. Full details here:

Long Island is a tough location, Dadster.
The New York Wargamers (NYWA) used to meet in Manhattan on the West Side, but have since moved (like the Giants and the Jets) to NJ. NYWA now meets at the Maplewood Hobby Store in Northern NJ.
Likewise, across the Sound, the Connecticut Game Club used to meet in Stratford, but has since moved inland.
Either way, you are looking at some driving. That's why many LI based gamers attend the HMGS conventions in PA. You can also try NJCON in June in Northern NJ.
Good luck.

P.S. to my last comment: for those gamers in Long Island, you can also check out the Metropolitan Wargamers located in Brooklyn.
They are a great bunch of active players with their own gaming space.
Feel free to send a message to their President, Kimber VanRy, who can be found on TMP.
Enjoy the games.
