A few people have asked if I can scale down my decals to a smaller scale. I'm in the midst of testing to see what it takes.

Here's a picture of the first test that's gone all the way to matte varnish. The test subject is a 1/285 J2M Raiden. The decals are a reduction of my 1/200 J2M Raiden decal sheet.

I think the results are good enough to warrant continued testing.

The 1/600 test is being redone as I printed the decals too small.

As always, looking great, Kevin. The more offerings in 1/285th we have the better!

I am always looking for 1/600 decals. Not national insignia so much as Dom has those pretty well covered but nose art and squadron markings are very welcome.

Kevin, the example looks good. The decals I'd be interested in are those for larger aircraft. Fighter decals are pretty well covered but roundels & crosses for big bombers are more difficult to come by.

Great idea. Squadron markings and small lettering for tail codes etc would be handy.

I'll add another happy soul to the list. Great to have all your so specific decals in 1/285! Please please carry on.

Those tail codes for the Japanese green planes will be a godsend. I'm think of getting the Jolly Roger Corsairs, 77th Sentai Nates, some for Spits and Hurris, and the Rumanian Air Force for starters!

Definitely would like to see testing continue. The tail codes are sorely needed.

As I said in your new thread, I'll be all over 1/600 ones.
