OK, I've the four Rogue Squadron books, and they're pretty good.

I've read the Admiral Thrawn trilogy, and they're also good, altho I wish there was more space battle in them.

Now, among the massive number of novels…which books should I turn to for some Star Wars space battle inspiration? I'd especially like some huge fleet actions, that aren't dominated by any vehicle named "death".

The Wraith Squadron follow ups to Rogue Squadron have some.

annoyingly, the public library has only some of these, and not the first couple. I wonder how that happens – maybe they were misappropriated?

So not much – I've trouble believing that the squadron and Thrawn series are it.
