I'm planning on playing some games set in Sicily/Italy and I'm looking for a good source of scenarios for infantry company plus attachments sized forces. I can adapt scenarios to the rules I want to use, so no need to limit suggestions by rule system.

TooFat Lardies has a couple of scenario books about Sicily and Italy.
EDIT: cannot check for titles right now but will look later.

The Skirmish campaign books are great. Brigade Games has them.

I second the recommendation for the IABSM scenario books from Two Fat Lardies. We have not done it specifically for the Italian Campaign books, but we have converted some of the others to the Battlegroup rules and that worked just fine. You have to tinker a bit to convert some of the IABSM concepts (Big Men, hidden/blinds deployment, special function cards) to your rules of choice in order to have the scenario balance come out right, but that's not that tough. We recently played the campaign from the Vyazma or Bust book and had a blast.

If you're interested in making your own scenarios and you don't mind fighting with Commonwealth troops, then I would strongly recommend reading some of Mark Zuehlke's books like "Operation Husky", "The Liri Valley", "Gothic Line" and " "Ortona". These books are lavishly researched, very detailed and make excellent sources for developing your own skirmish and tactical level games.

Cheers.
Rod Robertson.

The Two TFL books for IABSM are "Sicilian Weekend" (the first two days of Operation Husky) and "Wildcat to Whale" (Anzio).

There's lots of details in there to make scenarios out of. They are quite interesting as its a Commonwealth unit fighting in the US 5th army so one can mix US and Commonwealth forces with a little stretchy imagination :)
