…after crashing with freighter off Istanbul coast

link

Oops.

skipper John27 Apr 2017 10:39 a.m. PST

"Russian navy's intelligence vessel…" Ummmm really?

BenFromBrooklyn27 Apr 2017 10:48 a.m. PST

The freighter was carrying sheep, and suffered minor damage to the bow.

So I guess we can say the Russian ship was "rammed"?

But seriously, it's packed with signals intelligence equipment.

How deep was the water?

Salvage op!

GarrisonMiniatures27 Apr 2017 12:32 p.m. PST

'So I guess we can say the Russian ship was "rammed"?'

Ewe said it.

rustymusket27 Apr 2017 1:37 p.m. PST

Oh, no! Not more sheep jokes!

Apache 627 Apr 2017 3:51 p.m. PST

The Russians ship's bow may have gotten "sheared" off when they were too enthusiastically "herding" the freighter.

williamb27 Apr 2017 7:31 p.m. PST

I kind of like the name of the freighter

Youzarsif H".

but it was an eweful accident.

COL Scott ret27 Apr 2017 10:23 p.m. PST

Too bad for the Russian he wasn't just "grazed".

I would think that we might be too "sheepish" for all these puns.

@Skipper John: Yep, they're called Intelligence Trawlers. Good way to spot one is when a Fishing Boat has more antennas than your warship!

Russian ship had a bit of it sheared off eh?
