Looks great!

Thanks for sharing.

Minor quibbles in the first 4 minutes are, since when do briefings happen in the hallway, on the way to the jet?

I don't recall jets being launched from the side ramp of a carrier, ever (perhaps I'm just not up to speed on current carrier tech, but I thought they were only launched from the two catapults on the front of the ship). Those are just reserved for landings, and overshoots, but perhaps the new Ford class has the ability to launch jets from new spots on deck.

Interesting, apparently the Ford does have 4 catapults for launching jets:

2 cats on the bow and 2 on the waist. It's a delicate dance when recovering aircraft.

This is just battlefield 3, a rather old game, that seemed pretty far from accurate when the mission was all said and done.

Don't get me wrong, it was really really neat, I just wouldn't call it the "most accurate".

Most realistic, not really. Visually impressive? You bet.

Was certainly hoping for the pilot to pull a high scissors when that Flanker did a Cobra/pitch-pulse, though.

One of the most realistic fighter games I've seen recently is DCS A-10: (although the A-10 isn't exactly a fighter…)

Here's a 17 minute video of just starting the A-10: (some foul language!)

One of my personal favorite fighter games, which was considered pretty realistic at the time, was Falcon 4.0. A very cool game.
