Cool army, great painting. And you put FLOWERS on the bases!!! By the way, is this an "all options" army for MeG or will it be fielded with all units on the table? Curious about MeG, you see. What would be the 1-3 best things about MeG for you?

There is about 15k worth of troops here. A typical game is between 10K and 12K , as the game size/time settles down. So, there is more than enough really

Best things for me

1.Card mechanic – forces you to consider all phases in the game for resource management

2.Alternate activation means that both players are active during a turn

3.Clever attrition/morale mechanism means that the 'best' troops don't aways win.

Pictish shields are really weird. How historical are the depictions?

The large round ones I don't know about, but I have visited the Pictish stones nearby and can attest to H and other shield shapes.
