I just stumbled across a new RPG that looks very good indeed, Star Trek Alpha Quadrant. Has anyone else tried this out? The mechanics seem based on a 2D6 upgraded TRAVELLER system and is based on the 5 TV series. It covers all major aspects of role playing, as well as generating planets and plots, stats for well know characters and generating your own, and is 160 pages long. It's also free at PDF link I'm still reading, but have a love for both Star Trek and Traveller, and am hoping to try it out soon on the group here.. |

The link works fine for me. Just click the green bar saying download. The game has a lot of ST background…mainly TOS and TNG as well. The more I read, the more I like it. |

Yea, the "Download" button works. Wish they had a few more examples, and details for spaceship combat, but you can probably build upon what's there, or use another system. |
