Hi. I have a question that I can't find an answer too. I have read that the Breguet 18 was used by the French in the Rif war. I can't find any reference to this plane. I can find the 14 and the 15,16 and 17 variants of that. There is also the 19 but I can't find anything about the 18. Any ideas? |

Hi, The "Breguet 18" was in fact the "Breguet LE", this means "Laboratoire Eiffel", it was an aircraft prototype of Gustave Eiffel. aero.land.free.fr/breguet.html The use of this plane in the rif war would be a mistake… |

I would suspect a typo at some point in the chain of information, especially since Breguet was using Roman numerals in that period. It would be very easy for XVII to be mis-set as XVIII and for the error to be overlooked. |
