Imagine that your last jar of Citadel Colours Flesh Wash (61-76), the kind in the hexagonal container with dark blue label, has finally run out/dried out/expired.

What do you replace it with?

Army Painter Dark Tone is what I switched to.

I was under the impression that Coat d'arms 133 Ink Wash Flesh was the same. I bought some to replace my Citadel Colour Flesh Wash which is still going strong.

Yes, I'm reading the link article now myself, looking for tips or new insights.

I used combinations of Armoury and Ral Partha paints for my human fleshtone base tone, washes, and highlights for decades, until my supplies finally began to run out over the last year. I've been experimenting with new ranges and colors ever since, trying to find matching paints that will give me the same results. It looks like I'm going to go with craft paint Delta Ceramcoat bottles in the main, but I'm still working with P3s, Reapers, and Vallejos as well. I don't use flesh washes very often for flesh tones but I DO use them for wood stains, so I'm curious to see what this writer will tell me.

I'm still eking out one of those old Citadel hexagon Flesh Wash bottles myself!
