In case you missed this, I did a step-by-step on how to make hedge rows. I built these with the English Civil War in mind so these would not work for continental bocage.

I was initially inspired by the use of scrub pads as the foundation but took it quite a step further – here's a couple so you know what you're in for:

One thing for future – I wonder if just shaped Styrofoam would have been quicker. There is no great benefit to using scratch pads other than that they are green. Even if damaged, only green will show through.

Nice work. I've seen others take scissors and cut bits and bobs off the pads before flocking, it gives them a more unkempt look. Might be an interesting mix.
