Are there any good books or websites with painting guides for this era, specifically allied armies around Waterloo? I'm looking for color guides as well that would give me the list of paints I would need to purchase.

Thanks for the help.

Et Sans Resultat (ESR) have almost complete uniform guides.

Paint specifics are harder. Getting agreement on which color is maybe hardest.

The Osprey book on Prussian Armies of 1815 is a good start for the Prussians.

Blandford Uniforms of Waterloo is a good comprehensive guide.

There are numerous other Ospreys on specific units such as Brunswickers, Nassauers, British units, French Guard units, etc.

See also the websites noted above.
