My latest blog post is my account of getting to grips with Test of Honour and a brief review of how I put the first batch of figures together. I hope that it is useful: link |

I actually recommend priming white, giving a black wash, painting all the lacing on the armor (and the rest of the model, then giving another black wash to define the lacing and give you black-lacquered armor. The first black wash is to hit all the cracks and crevasses, to give you some shadows. The white primer lets the lacing and the rest of the cloth pop brighter. And I also strongly recommend the Reaper Master Series paints for skin tones, "Golden Skin" is the triad you want for Asians. |
