We fought our third battle of Sharp Practice 2, this time with some experimental rules to simplify leader activations. It ended up a very close call, and we got our first cavalry charge!

Very nice report and well painted troops! This is probably no the best question for this post. I am curious though why I am not seeing the non-light/skirmish troops who are in formed order not mounted with 3rd ranks and having the NCO in the fourth as the period warfare was carried with these rules? I would think this would have significant impact to the small unit combat ( less than division-[or less than a 2 x company as your units]) as these rules are to address. The 3 rankers have less fire power initially but maintain it with the 3rd rank pushed forward with the losses vs the 2 rank skirmisher ( or German jager/British formed units, etc) who at 2 ranks, shrink in frontage!
