Old set haved too flat figures and was not suitable with Boki horses. Now all horses are suitable and figures are lightly more voluminous.

Have just ordered these, and a bunch of other figures.

Look forward to receiving them, and getting them painted.

Any idea when you are going to do some French Marshals/Generals other than Murat?

Jcfrog19 Apr 2017 12:49 p.m. PST

Aie… Now they eat more..'
Just got the previous lot.
It means I will start a collection of Kutusovs.
The horses are welcome, to add variety to others. Will you sell them separate too? But the reins should really end up in the hands of the rider not like # 3 from left on picture. If not the rider should not look so unconcerned. I have bern there in real.

So soon my Russian army will look more Mexican or modern European, with more generals and staff than bns….

How good is Kutuzov? He does look like the chap from S. Bondarachuk's War and Peace…….

Yes, Redcurrant, I got your order right after I casted these, so you will be the first owner of these resculpted ones, thanks! Before the French Generals I will train my hands with last Russian generals, cavalry ones. Then this line will be finished and new may be started.

Jcfrog, the horses on bases with grass are AB ones, so reins are probably on right places. Just this particular horse have long back and the rider is unfortunately slided too back. All figures come without horses and my horses are available separately. And fat Kutuzov now eat more too.

Deadhead, I am proud about my Kutuzov, he looks like real one.. ;-)

I am very fond of Sho's Kutusov – great sculpting, I painted the old casts – which still were very good in my view

Ok wait till supposedly fat Korff and co show up. Maybe use slimmer Kutusov for future turkicide games….still dozens of o glory bags of Turks waiting, one day.

Very nice, but I am more than happy with my older Sho figures, including Murats and Russian Infantry!

Tally Ho!

DHautpol21 Apr 2017 5:36 a.m. PST

Very nice, poor old Kutusov looks as if he's getting it in both ears from the generals on either side, especially the one with the finger.

Sure being told how to do things by puppies 25 years younger ( adc here), never happens in real life.
