When war gaming, how subtle are your stratagems?

A. Very, my opponent never knows what hit them
B. Somewhat, I use feints that my opponent falls for.
C. Not very, I use feints that my opponent sometimes falls for.
D. Not at all, I line my troops and roll them through the middle.

E. They are so subtle, I'm not even sure about them.

rmaker19 Apr 2017 10:53 a.m. PST

Thomas +1

Doh! sorry for the double post.
I didn't put E. as an option because I thought it would be too sub… oh, never mind.

When I do try a cunning plan. they usually pull off with considerable surprise, but I'm not very good at actually spotting opportunities for said cunning plan.

So roll a 6 to find a plan, then get +1 to the battle roll? :D

D – since games very rarely have enough Fog of War to make subtlety pay.

Depends on the scenario and my role.

As an infiltrating double-agent, my stratagems can be quite sophisticated and intricate. As a kaiju, less so.

I went looking for pictures of a camo Godzilla for you. No luck.

B & D depending on the game, scenario and my mood.

Khusrau20 Apr 2017 9:07 a.m. PST

all of the above depending on mood, period and army.
