Anyone know if these will mix? I have a large ish 15mm Peter Pig Samurai army and would like to add some Legio mounted samurai bowmen , which Peter Pig doesn't have, as some rule sets ( ADLG for one ) have things like heavy cav and bow armed Cv, so would like to be able to tell which is which.

Hence the question.

Would like to mix some foot as well from both to finish off the PP figures I still have left over.

I can only compare PP C20th figures against the LH crusades range, but there's a very noticeable difference in height and heft.

Thank you, height I can always add something under the individual figures base to help off set that sort of thing but only works if they aren't too far apart to begin with.
The heft or bulk I can't do anything for. Oh well.

I would say no. I have PP samurai army mixed with 2 dragons which work well I have a legio heroica swiss army, comparing the two legio are taller and chunkier so for me won't mix at all. Both ranges are however superb in their own right. Good luck.

Not the original question, but I was hoping to mix my Splintered Light with Legio Heroica and also had to come to the conclusion that the LH figures were too bulky (in a good way) to mix on the same base. The only PP figures I have are markers (casualties, and their "Shieldwall!" figure), and they are a fairly good match for SL, but if anything slighter.

I have both and they both have their own merit, but they don't match.

Legio is more stocky. It is more a case of one or the other.

Thank you all. I agree they are both great figure companies but from the looks of it won't be buying the Legio figures to mix in with the Peter Pig's.

You could try Outpost for mounted Samurai Bowmen, probably OK on separate bases from PP. Mind you I have no PP Samurai so I'm guessing.

Will take a quick look at outpost, are they the company where you have to download the form, fill it out, calculate the extras ( postage ) etc. and then send it to them and pay them, rather than the usual 'add to cart' button everywhere else?

No, they are now the company where you send them an email with what you want and they send you a paypal invoice including postage, you pay, they despatch. Reasonably fast turnaround in my experience, goods received within 2 weeks.

Also splendid prices!

Your description rings a bell some where though, may be how they used to do it, or some other outfit?

Will take another look at them then, I just remember something difficult with the ordering process and or postage etc. with them , may of been a while ago as you say , so it may of changed.
