A Painting Challenge is a good way to jump start a project, add to it or even use an an antidote to times when painting is no fun, tough or something. It's even more fun and beneficial if several friends join. Here is a small photo report of the Challenge just completed – all WWII for me. Take a look. Respectfully, Bill P. link |

I don't know Bill, you and WWII just doesn't seem right. In my mind, you are firmly entrenched in the SYW or somewhere in the Queen's vast colonial empire. But great paint jobs anyway! |

Nice work, I think the Japanese uniforms came out pretty well. |

Thank you Mark, mjkerner, Redroom and Joe! *** Mark you have the right of it. In fact on May 6th we'll be having my belated Annual Birthday Game Day. It features a Seven Years' War tabletop battle in India. The SYW and Colonials (of a different century) combined. In the two months that follow, the Japanese Army will invade Luzon from Lingayen Gulf in our weeknight games. Guys! I appreciate your remarks and you looking in on the blog.
Cheers, Bill |
