Is there anyone in the US making or distributing 15/18mm buildings that are good for AQMF?

What I am hoping to find are buildings to make "main street" USA for that WW1 time period. Most of the available buildings in the right scale are European in style for FoW or are model railroad buildings which aren't the right time period or feel.

Also, is it just me or are there a lot more options at lower prices for laser cut MDF buildings in Europe compared to the States?

Walthers make HO scale buildings. Not sure what you mena by "not right for the time priod." Most look like buildings built in the late 1880s through the 1920s and that would not look out of place today. Many are 3 or 4 buildings in one:

If you want some free card buildings you can always go to Illinois

Burned out ruins would seem to be most appropriate.

Look for the Paper Terrain range by Scott Washburn. He makes
quite a few buildings for AQOTMF.

Second for Paper Terrain. They are custom designed for AQTMF. link

Many of the buildings include both intact and burnt ruins versions too!!

I went with The Miniature Building Authority…it's more rural (like where I live) but I like it……

AND it's currently 50% off…….
