Any advice on finding sculptors for commission work? Are there any good directories, either on this site or elsewhere on the internet? Any help much appreciated! Thanks! Joe |

I found mine through word of mouth and recommendations from figure companies. I just spoke to companies whose figures I liked and asked them who sculpted for them and asked if they could pass me their details or approach them for me. Had mixed results but found a good sculptor reasonably quickly. I'm in England though and we don't have to travel far or wait long for a convention to speak to figure companies. |

Yep that's pretty much how we found ours too, I was talking to Mike Brookes (ex Ainsty) about starting up WSD and what I planned on releasing and he said "Bob Olley might be interested" and he put me in touch with Bob. There's probably a web based way of doing it too, but I always liked the personal touch way of doing things. Cheers Roger. |
