Hi does anyone have any of the early – mid 80s 25mm Viking Miniatures for sale please? They were originally manufactured in Glasgow and some of the (Viking) moulds were bought up by Warrior Miniatures later on. I have a significant collection of their Saxon figures but was looking for some more Normans, Vikings and anything from their First Crusade Range. Thanks for looking they really are great figures! |

Antelope, I got some Viking (type) figures that were thrown into a trade I made a couple of years ago. Nice castings but I have no idea who made them. I've used one as a standard barrier, have 20 left. 4 are Norman, several Saxons and most Viking. I'll take some photos tonight… |

Hi. I have the Viking, Norman and Saxon armies, all still unpainted. As I recall, they were sold as whole armies, not as individual figures, as was more common back then. I would consider selling them but I don't want to post my personal email address here. Any ideas on how we can get in touch? |

Antelope, I have a couple of photos. Get me your email address and I'll mail them to you. Then you can see if they are what you want. I cannot post them here. |

rtc 105….They were launched as army deals but you could buy 25 figure lots at the shows they attended. The Saxons had Huscarle, select fyrd and great fyrd subdivisions. Their last two releases were first Crusade and Rus…although I never saw them in the metal so unsure whether they were "real" or pre-release figures that appeared in magazines. |

bobm1959. Would be nice to see some of their Rus and First Crusade figures if they were ever produced. They really are nice figures. |

Please someone post some photos for nostalgia's sake. And…does anyone know which of the Warrior codes might refer to moulds which are available now? I lost about £12.00 GBP in 1981 when my order from Viking didn't arrive. I think they stopped trading before I could do anything about it… |

Hobhood4, from the Warrior Miniatures Catalogue the figures are marketed under Crusade Miniatures codes 2101 through to 2112, these are recast from the original Viking Miniatures and are of actual Vikings at 60p each. Bought some last year and they are the same as the originals, but only Vikings. The range does cover some figures but not sure if they are Viking First Crusade or Rus. Will try and upload some pics soon. |

Bloodaxe makes a range of range of 25mm Hebridians that would work for vikings unless you are looking for a specific brand name "Viking" link |
