I've seen the lance boxes for Alpha Strike but no vehicles set. Does Alpha Strike have rules for vehicles?

I do like some of the old vehicles that came out when most of the Alpha Strike Mechs were new circa 3025.

Hey Moe,
the rules cover vehicles as well.
may have to get main rulebook for that.
but you can get cards here.

And yes, no plastic vehicle boxes out there

If you want to press Ogre vehicles into service, plastic sets for those are coming out. Probably this summer, doesn't look like their are any current set-backs to the schedule. While not the classic BT image, I've always been happy using whatever available plastic minis for any rules.
Although back in the day, I was very happy to splurge and outfit a company of Savannah Masters with the Ral Partha metals ^,^

And they have already started designing minis set #2 for the next Kickstarter ^,^

Savannah masters were the fun to play back in the day. I did get in on the ogre plastic KS.

Savannah masters were the fun to play back in the day.

I used to LOVE Savannah Masters! If I took a Plt of those, no one could ever touch me. True I was nothing more than a nuisance the entire game, but such a nuisance that my opponent would often make a mistake that would win the game somewhere else…

Consequently my group BANNED Savannah Masters. Ha!

Savannah Masters were by far the most efficient way to field medium lasers for games with a total weight ton limit!

Nothing like a lance of them pissing off an assault mech for an entire game.

It would be nice if someone made Battletech AFVs in plastic. It's been done before, sort of…

This is a complete cohort for the old FASA game Renegade Legion game. It is the same scale as Battletech and it contained a full cohort, or battalion, of grav tanks. That's 54 AFVs with 18 light and 18 medium tanks (four companies) and two companies of AFVs.

These were pretty small tanks though. Some of the Battletech tanks are down right huge!

Yes, it seems that scale does have a huge swing in sizes. Take the Ogre vehicles and the ogre troops..

Garand18 Apr 2017 12:50 p.m. PST

I think some people have taken to calling modern Battletech minis 1/220 scale instead of 1/285 scale…

Damon.
