I picked up some of these for $1 USD each at Big Lots (US discount chain). These aren't cars, they're boats! No wheels. Comes with a plastic water base that fits in place. Windows vary from 1mm to 3mm in height. Looks like it works for 3mm to 6mm scale. No visible doors/entrypoints. There's a small orange helipad at the rear – if that's really a helipad, that knocks the scale down quite a bit. Or stick a turret back there! link |

Do you think it would work for 15mm (sans helipad)? It looks like it could be pretty scaleless (smaller windows due to armor or to show less light). |

Seen these, but have one question – Does the water base come off easily? |

Same here; I've seen them on the shelves, but the "water" gives me pause. If it comes off and the hull is intact, I'll probably pick up one or two. |

i see they do a simple "boghammer" style boat called the Tinforcer in police livery, that scales well for 6mm figures; Not water under it, so a bit more useful. |
