AW Miniatures release the start of a range of figures designed for Wellington ib India, these will be great teamed with those figures from Indus Miniatures

Why are the Sepoys armed with muskets with barrel bands (like the French), when British pattern muskets in the early 1800s didn't?

Great initiative (even if the Major is quite correct. There is some evidence of the company purchasing muskets from different sources but the likelihood is that the vast majority would follow the basic British pattern… if only for reasons of the size of the balls.. if you will pardon me the expression….).

But please, please, please can someone talk to the nice people who now run Mutineer and either persuade them to part with the moulds of their walls and gate, fortifications and Indian houses or sell them… they were the best ever produced for this theatre (the original Weekley ones are good but on the small side.. Mutineer's were suitably massive….)
