Under Fire Miniatures13 Apr 2017 3:00 p.m. PST

Hi there. Got a very welcome piece of mail through the post today, bringing me the next set of South West Africa sculpts and eight 28mm West German Polizei sculpts. Photo's below…

This lot will eventually become FAPLA 3 and represent infantry elements from the Angolan Government Army during it's battles with UNITA and the SADF in the 1980's. The sculpts are scaled for use in 1/76 – 1/72 games.

Not shown are the six figures which will be manning (3 each) a AGS-17 and B-10 recoiless rifle.

These sculpts will become 28mm West German Polizei packs 1 & 2.

The Polizei were inspired by the scenario in the Force on Force ''Cold War Gone Hot'' supplement where you had East Germans vs Berlin Polizei. For the most part they wear mid ('76 onwards) West German police uniforms but the MG3 gunner wears a pullover and bearded G3 rifleman a wind cheater with radio in it's top left pocket.

Webbing is very basic, just a belt, yoke and magazine holders. The Pzf44 gunner carries a sports bag, wherein he carries his reloads !

All the sculpts are now in the post to be master moulded and will be released over the next 2 to 3 months.

I will happily answer any questions people may have.

Regards,

Bill Weston,
