Any suggestions on manufacturers or specific models. I am having a hard time locating any that would be appropriate for WWII in the Pacific.

You might try Vietnam buildings (long hut ones) and mount them on raised frames (probably a solid block or part of a hair roller.

I think you need to be more specific. Are we talking Philippines? Burma? Okinawa? Guadalcanal?

I wonder where that photo of Okinawa was taken. I was stationed there in the late 80's/early 90's, and wonder if I was ever near there.
