That is very well done, Joker – a nice report and very attractive looking game; the paper figures are surprisingly attractive! The Portable Wargame really is a fun concept,and can produce some real nail-biting actions, all achieved with extremely simple mechanisms. As you say, it pairs superbly with the One Hour Wargame book. Keep up the great work! |

A great battle report! I am working on the second PORTABLE WARGAME book, which will probably contain rules for the Ancient era, a more complex version of the Twentieth Century ruled, and some Air Combat rules. Hopefully it should be finished by June or July. |

So Bob, I should probably give you some more feed back on your Ancients rules before then I suppose? I am planning on getting an ancients game or two in tomorrow night. It will be good to see how "real" figures look on the paper terrain board. John |
