I've been informed of a need for a board dedicated to hobby discussion in the Spanish language, and have created a board for that purpose.

Not to be confused with the Wargaming in Spain board, which is specifically for gamers in Spain to discuss their activities.

As this new board is presumably intended for Spanish-speaking gamers who, unlike Armand, are not so fluent (literate?) in English, wouldn't it be a good idea to make the announcement in Spanish as well?

Has the Aramaic community been consulted on their board needs?

Avec plaisir, mon ami!

I know that there is a large community of Spanish-speaking readers in TMP … the problem with them is that the vast majority is not well versed in English … and to top it all they have their great prejudices when it comes to posting here .. Unfortunately there are people in the "Saxon" world that does not treat very well those who do not handle their language well … therefore … let's see…

(sourire)

Given US demographic trends and other political changes this will be very useful in both the US and Gibraltar.

wouldn't it be a good idea to make the announcement in Spanish as well?

I've changed the board name to Wargaming de Lengua Española.

And here's a Google translation of the announcement:

Not good Bill…

"Me han aconsejado de la necesidad…"

or

" Me han informado de la necesidad…" (without "consejo")

So… the phrase would be…

In the other hand…

I recomended…

In summary….

Armand, on the plus side, you are not going to get Dog Housed on a random drive-by because Bill is not going to know what is being said.

Hmm. My theory that Tango is an experimental AI bot is either wrong or the AI is more advanced than I could have imagined at this stage.

Despite having a father who spoke Spanish as his native language, the months I spent living in Miami, and the efforts I once made to study Spanish… well, my Spanish is awful. frown

It's OK. I can't be good at everything. evil grin
