I need some help I recently got the Castle/Citadel from Warlord Games which included the Connector sets as well.

So I've built the wall sections and the Main Gate section and now I'm ready to assemble the towers but I hit a snag.

And that snag deals with the wall connectors now I want to make my Castle with the towers at 90 degree angles but I don't know which connectors to use.

So if anyone can help me out I'd be very grateful.

Thanks
Michael

Good afternoon Michael.

you would need two connectors per floor of each tower. the connector sprues are these:

On each sprue you find the two connectors for each floor ; ground, middle, exposed/parapet floor, they are in this order on the sprue in the picture.

As you wish to have the wall sections meeting at 90 degrees on each tower, when you build each layer of the tower you would have to set the two connectors for each floor side by side.
the sprue of connectors you want to use in this case is the one on the left from the picture above, from the Warlord web site, as the other ones are to be used for walls connections at a different angles.

I hope this helps. If you are still not sure, I would suggest to build the wall sections first, then start by building the first layer of the tower without gluing the tower walls – possibly using blue-tack – and see that you are using the right components for what you have in mind.

This video could also provide you with further insight:

Thanks Lorenzo after reading your reply and also looking at the video I was able to complete the Castle and dispite the few errors(most were corrected and one was not)I made along the way it looks pretty good.

Each level of the towers are separate with all wall sections and the two connectors I glued onto each level.

And once everything was finished I had a decent amount of extra pieces which includes one wall section leval either ground or second level.

And just to let you know I got this off eBay from a person in the UK so he might've had a little more than the Castle set contains but I'm not certain.

I remember that I also needed a while to figure out that there are two different connectors with different angles – at the very same problem for a 90°. Once you realize this, its pretty obvious.
Otgherwise, unlike the Renedra castle you can build this kit practically without any additional work on the sprues. A small masterpiece of design – though I would have preferred a solution without a need to build just one angle into the towers.
