Hi folks,

some of you might have already seen these out there in facebook land. But, for those who haven't, here's a commission I recently finished for 20 feet of flexible roads (and bocage) in 6mm scale – my first ever build in 6mm. It was a bit of a challenge getting those tank tracks on such a small base, but I'm really pleased with how they worked out. And, more importantly, my customer is really pleased!

Here are some piccies…

Final photo just to prove that the roads are flexible…

Hope you like the photos. For those of you who are on facebook, please search me out on page as Take Cover Scenics. For those that don't, there's a website in development.

Thanks for looking,

John

Thanks everyone, for the kind comments and encouragement!

Jwebster – it's a trade secret.

Only kidding. I use something called rubberised horsehair (I actually think it's coconut fibres) but any kind of rough fibrous substance that has a bit of an open weave will do. Needs to be more open than a green scouring pad. Glue it down then really rough it up with scissors to make it look uneven. Then glue on the flock.
