"Snappy Nappy 1809 Campaign in a Day: Sunday Apr 23 2017" Topic

The annual multi-table (16 this year) Snappy Nappy "Campaign in a Day" event is on Sunday, Apr 23 2017, with doors open at 11am. It's at The Portal (Time Machine Hobbies) in Manchester, CT, just east of Hartford. Rules taught. Free admission. Free parking. If coming, please contact: gonsalvo@aol.com with side preference.

This time, it's the 1809 campaign that will be spread across 16 tables. As you leave one table, you go to another. If you've ever wanted to experience reduced "helicopter view" and enhanced fog of war in a game, here's your chance.

I was sad the date wasn't good for me last year, but this year is good!
I'll check with some other likely suspects to see if anyone else wants a roadtrip.

Deadline for emailing me to join in the fun is 5PM this Friday, April 14th.

We are set to go with 17 tables, and 12-13 players so far, but can easily and happily accommodate quite a few more.

This Friday or Saturday Dan will send out the player briefs, theater maps, etc so that the French and Austrian players can each collaborate and set their initial plans.

These events really are very unique and special – well worth the trip!

If you're even slightly interested, I strongly encourage your participation. I've played in 2015 and 2016, much fun, but unfortunately it is not looking good for me to play this year.
