These are the 19th Bengal Lancers (circa 1879-1880) that will be added to the 1st, 14th and a generic unit that I already have.I do not plan on adding any more Bengal Lancers to the collection. They are by Old Glory and I took artistic license and gave the Sowar a blue violet pagri instead of just blue to make him stand out from the regulars. I actually only painted one of the figures and got help on the other 11. I did, however, paint all the lances and pennons.

Very nice! You can never have too many lancers – but you do have a lot! |

Rhyngyll, they look great! I agree with Frederick, you can never have too many lancers; especially Bengal Lancers! Is the piece of terrain in which they're posing from Paragon Scenics? |

Frederick – Thank you. I think I might have a scenario to the Charge of the Light Brigade where the all the Lancers charge down a valley toward batteries of guns. You can do things like that with toys and usually no one actually gets killed or injured unless one of the gamers gets particularly upset. Wayne – Yes that is a Paragon Scenics terrain piece called "The last man rounder". |
