Allow me to share with you some photos of a play (played with the house rules) with some people of our players' circle. We replayed the battle of Albuera, which took place on May 16th, 1811 during the Peninsular war. link I hope you enjoy. |

That wasn't a decisive battle… |

"That wasn't a decisive battle…" ah ah ah ! Merovee !!! You call it indecisive ?!? You did a great job destroying the allied cavalry but remember the whole Girard's division diseappeared in those ferocious fightings against Zayas Spaniards ! Not really indecisive in my opinion – and I was playing French too ! :) Zayas and Mendizabal troops were in a very bad shape when my reserve brigade came to contact but before that Christophe did a pretty good job leading them. He even prematurely killed poor Girard ! As a French player I'm sorry to say it was something of a historical result !! :) |

Ah Ah AH Franck ! Yes, of course I'm agree with you about this fact ! But… I also think that if we had pursued the battle, French would have got the upper hand favor in particular to the threat of their cavalry over the right allied's wing. |
