I recently purchased WOG starter set Battle of Britain. I enjoyed the game so much I made a further purchase of 2 P51 Mustangs and 2 FWs.

When they arrived today found the manuver cards deck totally different from starter set and WW1 WOG.

The only explaination I can come up with is the planes are faster and need the larger (much larger) cards.

They can't even fit in flight deck slots.

Anyone else have this, or an answer.

Faster planes like the P51 and FW do get larger cards. You need not worry since you got the right stuff. I believe the rationale for larger cards allows the faster aircraft to move farther per card, which makes sense.

Late war fighters tend to be faster and use larger flight deck cards to allow for this. They also tend to have a more powerful armament.

Ideally you need to sue aircraft that were contemporoay with each other eg Spitfire mk1 v Me109E, P-47 or P-51 v Me109G or K.
