Could someone please tell me how many flags US infantry units carried in action in the War of 1812?

Two: a national--which was NOT the Stars and Stripes--and a regimental. National to the right, of course. If you can find a copy of an old print titled "Regulars, By God!" you'll have the whole thing.

I love that print but do wonder if the mounted officer would be in front of them as they got into musket range – which they obviously are.
