It has been quite a project but the last 3 squads are finally done.

Thanks John. I use Eureka marines as my main force as well. Mine rnot painted yet so my new plan is to paint them as you have.

Looks like we are going to do a CoC game with Marines this weekend.
Those are very nice looking.

Not a knock on your guys, but it seems to me that the figures for WW2 Pacific Marines always look too nice -- like they just landed. When I see photos, there are guys with shirts unbuttoned, sleeves rolled up, nothing tucked-in; a lot like the photo in your link. The USMC figures I see for sale… they don't look like the photos. Maybe someone needs to make battle-worn USMC figures.

I agree. Would love to see some 20mm figures like that for Japanese, Aussies and 14th Army also. There are a couple of mediocre packs from Stonewall/Combat of Japanese like that and FAA has Merrill's Marauders looking pretty ragged, but more would be good.

That's a pretty fantastic looking project – its not often that people model j ngle terrain that looks like jungle but you've done a terrific job.

Having just painted up some Australians, I'm currently working on some Japanese, all from Eureka. They sent me a sample of one of the USMC with my Japanese order and now seeing these I'm sorely tempted to buy some (as if I don't have enough to paint already!). Nice work.
