I'll be in Madrid for a couple of days next week. Anyone have recommendations for sites or museums that a wargamer should visit?

Thanks,

The Colonel

In central Madrid, the Naval Museum and the Civil Guard Museum, in the suburbs the Airforce Museum, and with a short train ride to Toledo, the Army Museum.

Atlantica… you lucky old thing to be going there… I am envious… and if you can fit it in La Flecha Negra too… but Atlantica is the tops..
Casa de Libro also has a reasonable military section…

Agree that Atlantica is a great shop but check their opening hours as they close for siesta.

The Naval Museum is a fantastic place and well worth allocating an extra hour to see it all.

the alcazar at Toledo , Escorial ( check the bus times ) and the valley of the fallen ( Franco's tomb ) .
