We played a 3 person delaying action game with the Diggers and Japanese. Scenario was a pincer attack on a elevated trail. John and Rob had a platoon with a Vicker MMG and a pregame barrage while I had a single understrength Japanese platoon (46 instead of 56 men) and 2 LMG teams and a sniper. All my stuff could be entrenched. The defensive deployment zone was in the center along the track and ridge instead of at the edge of the table and the attackers came in from the 2 forward corners. Pretty bloody game that saw my Force Morale drop to zip and my platoon cut off with the Japanese winning a couple of close combats actions. link I think the scenario worked this way but I would give the defender 4 patrol markers to start instead of 3 to keep the flanks from being completely turned.

The table looks lovely, especially in the 1st pic. I so love the trees you use. |

Microbiggie this is awesome. I'm building a game set in Cuba in 20mm and I'm really interested in the matt you're using here as well as any info on the trees. Please advise. Thank you. |

Mark, always a treat to see pics of your games. I'm itching to get back into some more Chain of Command in the Pacific. |

Uparmored, the mat is fabric called grizzly bear fur( not teddy bear fur) sprayed different greens. Trees are from all over the place -mainly woodland Scenics and MRC. Bamboo is from someone on ebay that was then heavily flocked. Thanks, Mark |
