Loveley – I need these for those BGK scenarios – when are they due out?

Excellent, can you do Daimler Dingos and armoured cars next please!

I just bought two sets of them, but I'm going to convert them into US armored cars for All Quiet on the Martian Front :)

Can't wait for the mailman to bring mine – and the new Battlegroup Tobruk book!

So I'm guessing the 234 family can't be too far aware

Not sure about that Blacky, the early ones were chosen bacause of Battle group Tobruk ( Got mine and its fab :) ), I been trying to persuade PSC to do the 234's and schwims for ages but no one ever takes notice of me lol

These are fantastic! I've been a big fan of PSC vehicles from the get go, but they've outdone themselves this time; nice sturdy models (no more flimsy axles to break)and even the "bed frame" antenna was easy to assemble. The MG34 barrel for the 263 radio command version is very nicely sculpted too, a vast improvement on earlier kits

Oh yes, another bonus is the unused parts from other variants fit nicely on to the chassis and lower hull of the terribly inaccurate old Airfix kit if you have any of those knocking about ;)

Under construction in the foreground – you can tell the result will be a sturdy model. Above that, Airfix with the PSC turret and upper hull, Top one is the Roden kit and the sdkfz263 armored command post at left is the PSC option straight from the box

That is a remarkably tidy build area you have there – I am impressed. Mine looks like an explosion in a toy soldier and paint factory.

With the Airfix/PSC hybrid, does that suggest the PSC kit is a tad small, as Airfix were renowned for being 1/76.

LOL So does mine – I had to do a lot of tidying up to be able to take the photo!

Airfix have always been a bit funky about scale and this being an old bagged kit from the 190's (yes, I had to build it!) was marked just as 00 scale……. if anything it is slightly
on the large side comparing it with the 1/72 Roden model. Anyway, it works with the PSC upper hull with minimal sanding and filling.

The Airix Crusader is another kit that is oversized for 1/76 as it has almost identical dimensions to the Armourfast 1/72 kit.
