Closest group would be the St Crispins 2nd Saturday of month meeting group I could suggest. Brookhurst Hobbies another nearby location but unknown if your mentioned games played. DBA Adig and DBR games occasionally seen at the HMGS-PSW conventions (next one in Fall) but I am unaware of regular monthly DBA gaming in Southern California. Ancients is sort of in "sleep mode" out here except for the regional conventions for HMGS-PSW and Strategicon (3 events per year).

St Crispins: meetup.com/stcrispins

HMGS-PSW is loosely based out of the St Crispins group. Many of the HMGS-PSW gamers are part of St Crispins, my gaming group, and other based around Southern California.

I am based further north across the city of Los Angeles (in Winnetka CA). About 50 miles north of San Pedro. Ancients are played in group using the Clash of Empires (COE) rules, similar to the old WAB 1.5+ rules but no DBA.

My blog is Wargamerabbit: link
