How does it differ (if at all) from the original version?

mrinku05 Apr 2017 6:11 p.m. PST

@Ferozopore: They've stated it's the same rules but with the layout updated, more pictures and some supplemental material, plus all the army lists collected and included. If you own the original there's probably no pressing need to get it.

I don't own the previous one, so I was more than happy to sign up and get some pre-order goodness :)

Ferozopore06 Apr 2017 11:52 a.m. PST

My bank account and I thank you for confirming my suspicion. Of course I'll end up buying more figures. Oh well.

My copy just arrived. Gorgeous book! Very happy!

Got mine last week. Really well done presentation. Been going thru the rules and army lists. Can't wait to get a game in. Still trying to decide on my basing.

Thanks,

John

Yeah… I still want to use individually based figures since most of my gaming is RPG and skirmish, but three-to-a-base won't fit on a 60mm wide tray with my existing ones, especially the cavalry on 40mm washers :)

I'll probably go with 80mm frontage trays in the end. As long as all units have the same frontage it shouldn't matter much.

(I could also go for an all-skirmisher army!)
