Nice work! Some of the shakos look shorter than others. Is it an optical illusion or are the indeed shorter?

The shakos have the same size, but some of them were crushed, torn, shot through or damaged (some have lost their plumes or plaques).

Note the war-torn flags also.

Very nice. I always wish the army had put the drummer in reverse facings (Black) rather than white for the West Kent's

Unfortunatly, drummers of the 50th foot wore black coats during the 7 years' war but changed to white later.

It's sad because I've already painted a white drummer for my 33rd foot…
