Thanks to all the gamers who came out and played DBA the last weekend in March at Adepticon in Schaumburg, Illinois outside of Chicago. This was our second year and it was great to see players from last year along with new players just learning the game.

We started out on Friday night with a 25mm Giant DBA Game with Greeks vs.Trojans for 10 players and lots of chariots. That was followed Saturday AM with an open tournament (10 players) won by Dave Rutter with a Classical Indian Army. In the PM there was a Book I Chariot Wars Tournament with custom terrain boards. Jim Luenz took the honors with 3 wins at the Chariot Tournament using his Philistine army (kind of unusual when there were 3 armies led by a David in the tournament). We saw a number of newly painted armies fighting in their first battles and sharp looking they were. Mike Horton took home first prize for best painted with his Early Mycenaean army. Tournament winners got the big Adepticon medal and also a Thistle & Rose 15mm starter set of Viking Heroes.

Special thanks to Bob Beattie and Charlie Z from Michigan for their help and expertise with the event and helping to get things going last year.

The following shows the results of the tournaments. The DBA good news is, everybody managed to win at least 1 game over the course of 6 games in 2 tournaments.
