Hello all, We just wrapped up our annual BIG Car Wars event. It almost didn't happen because we got clobbered by a late-season snow storm the night before the event. We lost some players, but still had 10 hardy souls show up to compete. We have been making this event bigger and better every year, and this one is no exception. Huge album can be found here: imgur.com/a/YwdUK H |

Brings back memories. I tried doing a 3d Car Wars here years ago but there wasn't enough interest :( Love the game and cant wait until the kickstarter. |

That was incredible…and I'm not going to dig all those diecast cars out of storage and the packs of guns and accessories I bought from Stan Johanson, I'm not, I'm not… |

Herod, looks like you took a crap ton of pics this year. Looks like anot her fun time by all making me jelly once again. 30+ examples of Car Wars madness into perfection. Awesome review. Grimm |

Thanks Grimm. This year everyone had their camera's rolling, so we got a ton of good ones. One of the guys took a pic behind his car every turn, and if you string them together they are almost a short animation. Interesting because it makes you realize how fleeting the life of an autoduelist can be! :) |

Herod, think I am going to grab the Mattel Fast and Furious line for this type thing. They are the 1:55 scale versions. Keeps em all in scale and a nice variation. Think they will scale well with the Jada Battle Machines. Even the Disney Cars will scale into this. The 1:55 scales in nicely with the 28mm line of figs. Not the heroic scale. Just too much trouble finding Hot Wheels and Matchbox scale up well being boxed scale. But a great game as usual you had there. Grimm |

I actually picked up one of the Mattel but didn't get to it before the event. They scale with the Jada perfectly. In fact, I see now that Jada F&F is being listed as 1:55 scale, and are identical in many respects to their old 1:64 stuff. I used 25mm for our drivers, but I imagine "true" 28mm will work fine as well. Post 'em up if you get to them! :) (@Twoball – I'm on the east side of NH, right on the Mass. border.) |
