Here is the finished 28mm green of a Byzantine Thematic cavalryman. I modified several proportions to get a better overall look to the figure. He could be used as a retainer in the retinues of the Dynatoi or other thematic forces. link |

He looks good, and I think it is about time somebody gave some attention and love to the Thematic troops. After all, though part timers, they made up most of the army and fended off the minor incursions. Grelber |
