I got a fun half-weekend of bachelor-tude, so I did the manly thing and went to Michaels.

Yeah that's how I roll.

Without kids, I did get some painting done unmolested, including a killer apes and a watermelon patch:

I also managed to sleep in and do a day trip to the local gaming convention. link
No wargaming, but putting "Don and Hll" from Brigade Games into the minis painting contest netted me an interview with the local paper.

Then I came home to most of our 2-feet of snow melted, a burnt out sump pump, and my MBA buildings floating on six inches of water (Styrofoam is quite buoyant), so up until last night I've been pumping water out then drying out the basement. Luckily, nothing was damaged and higher shelves were reorganized accordingly.

I'm off the drug store to buy heavily discounted Easter candy…. for wargaming purposes!
