f) Not wearing knickers : I'm not sure about the good old USA – but in the UK knickers are worn by women, men wear pants. Women also wear pants. It's a whole lingerie conundrum. Pants are what people wear under their trousers. Yeah, I know in the USA you wear your pants over your underpants (or knickers). Very logical. g)Not a wargamer |

I don't have any knickers, but even if I did, I would be very unlikely to tie them in knots, unless it was an emergency survival situation at sea. I've been trained to tie pants in knots, and to fill them with air for flotation, so suspect knickers could be used similarly, assuming the legs are long enough (not 100% sure, since I'm unfamiliar with the technical description, and size/suitability of a set of knickers). |

Oh, I thought you said "snickers". Was wondering if tying them in knots would alter the flavor. |

Not wearing them yet, will check once I am. |

"Oh, I thought you said "snickers". Was wondering if tying them in knots would alter the flavor." No, but storing them in your knickers just might. |

Knickers used to be the name given to boys shorts… from the same stable as knickerbockers – which I believe was originally a Dutch term or derived there from in the New World. Not really relevant to anything except it seems in keeping with the sort of puerile abuse that is so much part of TMP these days and seems to raise its head in the question… ..which you will no doubt lead you to conclusions… but fallacious ones… I could not possibly care less … |

I actually own a pair of knickers, but they are not underwear. They are pants that extend to mid-calf, and are typically worn with long socks for cross-country skiing. They look something like these: link |

If you would only wash your knickers properly you would never get them in a knot in the first place, amateurs! |
