After all the prep, this year's 28mm Mech Attack battle finally happened last weekend at Adepticon. At the risk of defaulting to a much-overused term, it was Epic. The addition of Flying units and the new elevated Train terrain elements were very well recieved and really added to the drama of the game. All 6 player spots were filled and everyone had a great time. Full AAR, and tons of pics at the blog: link

Thanks JLA 105! Whitphoto and TGerritsen, There's always next year. Unless somethign intervenes I'll be running it again and I have plans to add a tarmac with some large spaceships and at least 2 more player slots. TEG, Nice shots! Thanks Chuckaro! D A THB, That really is our focus. The terrain is all well and good, but the Mech Attack rules are just good fun and easy enough to teach that folks at the con who have never seen them before can usualy be playing without help in turn or two.
