"There had been news floating around that the next conflict to get the ‘Commands & Colors' treatment would be the American Revolution (or the American War of Independence, as we Brits know it) – there had even been rumours that it would contain miniatures from The Plastic Soldier Company – no doubt fuelled by PSC Games involvement in Hold The Line…"

I'm super keen to buy this game (and have almost finished painting the orbat up in 54mm). But Compass has repeatedly pushed back the delivery date (by a year at this point) and have now switched to KS. This roll out gives me the willies and, coupled with the high price (given the exchange rate), means I'm going to wait until it arrives in my FLGS. |

I'm under the impression that Compass Games doesn't quite have their act together. |

USAF Pilot- I must agree with you. I originally reserved a copy for myself last year though Compass' website, since Compass said they were to release it in September 2016, but they kept on pushing the release date back to the point I had to cancel my reservation/order. Meanwhile, earlier this year, one of TMP's editors secured a copy of the game and offered it as a prize for a contest on TMP (I didn't win). With all the other games Compass offers, and the popularity of the Richard Borg Commands and Colors Ancients (big fan here) and Napoleonic's system, which should guarantee a best selling game before they even ship, I wonder what in hell is going on with Compass? |
